SINGAPORE, 13 March 2018 – PwC’s South East Asian Consulting practice hosted Asia’s first ever DisruptHR event, a high-energy ideas forum about people, business and disruption. Held in PwC’s Singapore office, the format of DisruptHR gives each speaker 5 minutes to address topics in a fun and engaging way.
A line-up of eleven speakers – including Sheela Parakkal, Chief Human Resource Officer of Prudential Singapore; Thaddeus Lawrence, Founder of Runaway Success Learning; Leong Chee Tung, CEO of EngageRocket; Su Yen Wong, Founder & CEO of Bronze Phoenix; and Pierre Legrand, Technology Consulting Leader at PwC South East Asian Consulting – came together to share their views on a variety of topics including the future of work, digital disruption, leadership, applying marketing principles to HR, wellness and maximising business value.
The event was attended by a diverse group of over 150 guests from a variety of industries including financial services, logistics and wellness, who enjoyed eleven dynamic 5 minute presentations.
Nicole Wakefield, Australia, Southeast Asia and New Zealand, Management Consulting Leader, PwC said:
“Our DisruptHR event, at its core, was fundamentally about three things; collaboration, learning & change agility in these disruptive times. Three things that we believe are of significant importance to business and individuals now and in the future. We wanted to do something innovative and different to encourage thought leadership around critical topics such as –the future of work. DisruptHR was a fantastic platform to provide our guests with a plethora of disruptive and compelling points of view, our speakers did an excellent job of inspiring, energising and exciting our guests with the ideas that they shared.”
