Singapore has again been rated as one of the most efficient places in the world for SMEs to comply with their tax obligations, coming in 5th out of 189 economies in a World Bank/PwC Paying Taxes study. This great result should come as no surprise to SMEs operating in Singapore given the Government’s focused and principled approach in designing an equitable but nonetheless competitive tax system.
