Singapore, 21 December 2016 – PwC Singapore today released a set of recommendations which were provided to the Ministry of Finance and Monetary Authority of Singapore for consideration in relation to the upcoming Singapore Budget 2017.

“Against the backdrop of uncertain global economic conditions and digital disruption, the Committee of Future Economy will unveil its recommendations by the end of January 2017.
“PwC’s ‘Proposals to Enhance Singapore’s Economy’ suggests some changes to enhance Singapore’s fiscal environment. The recommendations cover several areas such as – embracing digital disruption, enhancements to research and development, and encouraging local businesses to expand their footprint locally and overseas.
