PwC welcomes the appointment of Simon Gealy as the CEO of South East Asia Consulting
Singapore, 1 October 2020– PwC South East Asia Consulting today announced Simon Gealy as their next CEO with effect from 1 October 2020. Simon succeeds Sundara Raj Ramamurthy, who has led the regional business over the last four years.
Simon brings considerable experience from his extensive work across the region and is well-placed to take the business through its next phase of growth. He was admitted as a partner in the US Firm in 1999 and his leadership roles have included Leader of the Global Consumer Markets Group, New York Metro Deals Leader and, most recently, Financial Services Leader for PwC Japan from 2014 - 2019.
Sundara Raj, outgoing CEO says: “As part of our planned succession initiative, we are delighted to announce Simon as the next CEO of PwC’s South East Asia Consulting services. I am confident that under his stewardship, we will continue to see our regional consulting business grow while supporting our valued clients in solving their most important problems, especially during these unprecedented times."
Raj will remain with PwC South East Asia Consulting and will take on a Global Client Relationship Partner role as well as other leadership responsibilities across the PwC Malaysia and Vietnam firm.

In his new appointment, Simon will be based in Singapore overseeing PwC South East Asia Consulting, which is more than 1,000 people strong, with operations across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam .
