Press release -
PwC welcomes 11 new partners in Singapore
For immediate release - Singapore, 1 July 2022 - PwC is pleased to welcome 11 new partners to our partnership in Singapore. We are excited to have this diverse group lead our teams in the new financial year as we look forward to working together to make change happen and reimagine the possible with our people and our clients.
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way businesses work, and have brought on unprecedented issues . As Singapore steps up to address a myriad of challenges, from climate change and inequality to trust and cybercrime and even supply chain issues, the diverse skill sets and knowledge of these 11 partners will value-add to the firm’s capabilities as a trusted community of solvers for business and wider society.
Marcus Lam, Executive Chairman, PwC Singapore on the new appointments:
“Congratulations to our new partners on reaching this career milestone! I am thrilled to welcome them, and look forward to us coming together in unexpected ways to deliver on our promise to be the most trusted and relevant professional services business in the world.
“I am confident that with their diverse experiences and skills, we are in a better position to co-create lasting, impactful solutions that address the major shifts shaping the world: technological disruption, climate change, fractured geopolitics, social tension, the continuing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, and growing the need to build trust at a time when it is both more fragile and more complicated to earn.”
This announcement builds on PwC Singapore’s commitment made as part of The New Equation, PwC’s global strategy that was revealed last year, on admitting ten new partners annually as the firm expands on its capabilities.
